St. Ignatius Soccer League

Welcome!

St. Ignatius Soccer Club is affiliated with River City Youth Soccer League. We are a non-profit, volunteer, recreational league that provides a fun learning experience for over 120 soccer players! Our goal is to teach our players the fundamentals of soccer and to have fun. We have wonderful coaches and are so thankful for their time and commitment to our players. As a club we are constantly striving to grow and improve. We look forward to another successful soccer season and continuing the rich tradition of SI Club Soccer!

Calling U8 and 10 Girls!
We are looking for a few more Under 8 Girl and Under 10 Girl players to fill out our teams. If you know of friends and family who may be looking to play, please ask them to contact the Club Registrar or Club Manager (contact info at left) for more information. Both groups have strong players, but just need a few more girls to get these teams on the field! All other age groups are full but we have started a wait list for all additional interested players

Important Information:
U8-U12 Teams: Practices can begin August 1st. The seeding tournament will be the weekend before Labor Day, Saturday, Aug 29th. The U8-U12 season will start on Saturday, September 12th and end on Saturday, November 21st. There will be a bye weekend on Saturday, October 17th.

U6 Teams: Practices can begin August 1st. The U6's Season will be played Friday evenings, beginning Friday, September 11th with the final game on October 30th.

Your coaches will contact their players at the end of July or early August. They will also have your uniforms, once they arrive. If you have any questions, please contact the Club Manager or Coaching Coordinator.

Calendar Dates:

Monday, August 24th – Mandatory RCYSL meeting for all coaches
Saturday, Aug 29th (U8 and up): Seeding tournament
September 11th – October 30th: U6 team schedule (no Reseeding break!)
September 12th thru Oct 10th: First half of season, U8 teams and up
October 17th : Reseeding Break
October 24th thru Nov 21st: Second half of season
October 1st: Soccer Picture Day

All Players:

Complete the Player Registration Form (if using pen, it must be in BLUE ink) and sign in BLUE INK. Make two copies.

Read and sign the Parent Ethics form. Read and sign Photo Authorization Form

Bring a 1”x 1” school-type, photograph quality picture for player pass. Copied pictures will not be accepted. This should be a picture of your child’s full face – no hats, crowns or body shots and only in a 1” x 1” size!

NO INCOMPLETE APPLICATION PACKETS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!

New Players:

If you did not play for St. Ignatius last year, you must submit a photocopy of the player's birth certificate or passport. A hospital or christening certificate is not acceptable.

Registration Fees:

Please submit a check at the time of registration, made out to St. Ignatius Soccer Club. The cost is $60 per player and $50 for each additional sibling.

Individual and team pictures are included in this price. A $25.00 fee will be added to all returned checks. No refunds will be given after July 31, 2009.
